I love reading all of the 40+ pages of wank, they really have pissed off everyone this time.

And I'm not sure how many of you would be willing to join this, I feel like this is LJ-politics omg, but there is a protesting community out there with a petition on it: changeitback. I'm kind of tempted to make a journal called ljfailure. I wonder if it is one... EDIT There isn't. Ha. I make it one now. EDIT ...Making it ljfail because I forgot momentarily how fickle my u key is.

Also if you're worried about LJseek pulling up f-locked or private entries you can take your journal/community off here. :3 I took mine off already and can't wait until they update their indexes to take it permanently out.

This change is also...new and I don't recall being informed about it. I like it. Just would've liked a heads up.

I think except for about a hundred or so the general consensus is that we hate it, we want an opt out, or for them to change it back.

I have no idea though. I think that's what they strive for.

I stumbled over the Manage Account thingie some time ago. It looks cleaner, but it cleaned away all the functions that I used... Now I have to go check the FAQ everytime I need to access page xyz...

oO Actually that's still available for me. I have the old viewing style, not the Horizon that they force on you now. Mine isn't available anymore but the top bar actually has a lot of what I need. I wish they'd bring it back because I think it's a LOT better than the other shit.

Oh I see. I have an old viewing style too, where the only Tags you can access from the side nav bar are the ones in your scrapbook. Well, whatever. Not gonna change it lol

Thanks for the ljseek link! I disabled indexing for my lj since it was bringing up posts I've since flocked.

I don't see what's different about the manage account page. Did it change awhile ago and I just never noticed? Idk, I use Vertigo instead of Horizon so I rarely use the manage account page.
